It’s Saturday and the game starts at 7:30. Questions: How many minutes will JJ Barea play? How many rebounds will Shawn Marion get? Who will be the highest scoring Raptor?

Hoping we can bounce back from a heartbreaking loss in New Orleans Wednesday night.
Barea will play 18 minutes. Marion will have 8 rebounds and Chris Bosh will be the leading scorer from Toronto.
Let's go Mavs!

We need to play better offense, because Dallas is 26th in FG percentage, disaster. This team play stupid jumpshot strategy, while Kidd is our best 3pt scorer. Carlisle use your brain and stop this strategy. Kidd should more run and pass to uncovered teammate, because he has too many turnovers in this static strategy. Hope when Josh back, we won't play 3 PG in the end of 4qtr. Still waiting for over 110pts by Dallas.

Hm...Normally, the guy who opens a GT thread gives a little introduction to the game. You know, matchup comparison and stuff. Nevertheless, Kasjan is back were he left I actually agree with you concerning the 3 guard lineup. I dont like terry and jjb together anytime though, especially when howard returns, it should be EITHER terry or jjb. Bosh is on fire recently, he was perfect (9/9 FG, 1/1 3pt) in yesterdays road win over the hornets and continues to impress. He has added the three ball in his arsenal, though using it only very sporadicly () - momentarily averageing 29 / 12 besides having gained about 7kg (I'm a metric system guy) of muscles in the offseason. DeRozan is still getting used to the nba, he'll need frédéric weiss to dunk on to become the next air canada Bargnagni is showing improvement after his extension and calderon is him-usual-self (execpt for the FT%). Check this out, he already has missed more free throws in 5 games than in 68 last season (last year he was 151-154, he now is 11-14). Turkoglu still is fatigue from playing national team with turkey after the finals last season. he obviously isnt 100% (BTW, i think he has gotten a faaar too big contract). Thats it on the Raptors, I hope tonight, there will be more than a guy showing up offensively since the last two games it was a one-man show for the MAVS (Dirk vs Utah and Terry vs. NOH). Kidd should take care of the ball, waaay to many TOs. Keys for the game: - Defend CB4 - Dont allow too many open 3s (Calderon,Bargnagni,Turkoglu,Bellinelli,Jack [DeRozan] are all good shooters) - Finish the quarters properly - Defend CB4 (did i already write that? ) Also, the MAVS will face Antoine Wright, who has seen good minutes recently. In this light,Ex-Raptor Humphries should be up for it,too. GO MAVS mavs 112 raptors 104

Dirk will be bouncing back huge and Bosh always has good games here. Toronto dominated NO last night and we're coming off some much needed rest.
Keep taking it to the rim Mavs, we can't get into a 3pt war with this Raptors team. Own the rebounds too. The Raps can score, currently in a virtual tie with ORL for 3rd highest scoring team in the league. We'll need that Mavs D tonight.
I'm attending this Mavs WIN tonight. Like others, I'm predicting this one gets up into the 100's with the Mavs coming out on top due to superior defense. Go Mavs

Josh is BACK!!! Whoooo - hooooop Quote: Jason Terry brings you the quote of the day, "it will be great to have Josh Howard back tonight." That came out of JET's mouth this morning after shoot around. The great part is, Jason wasn't even asked about Josh Howard. http://angrytrey.blogspot.com/2009/11/j ... night.html

That came out of JET's mouth this morning after shoot around. The great part is, Jason wasn't even asked about Josh Howard. http://angrytrey.blogspot.com/2009/11/j ... night.htmlHere is more on that: http://mavsblog.dallasnews.com/archives ... d-bac.htmlMavericks player development coach Darrell Armstrong said this was the first week that Howard has been able to go through full practices this season. Armstrong has worked with Howard quite a bit this week to get him ready for his return. After the team's shoot-around Tuesday morning (before the home game against Utah), Armstrong spent about an extra hour working with Howard to get him ready. "It looks like he's pretty sharp," Armstrong said. "It will be on him how much, if he does have any pain, he can take and manage. At the end of the day, he has to get confidence in his ankle. I know for myself and for guys who have had surgery, you got to get relaxed and be able to feel that pain and know that you can play through that pain and that's all it boils down to. He's been looking good. He's been working hard and trying to get back and it's good to have him back this early because I didn't think we'd have him back this early." ...Armstrong said he feels like Howard will be ready tonight in his season debut against the Raptors. "I'm sure somebody is probably going to kick it or he's going to stump it, but he should be fine," Armstrong said. "I think he's looking forward to getting out there with his teammates and playing basketball."

Raptors are damn good, especially on offense. We need our D tonight. I'm glad Josh is back, hands down he's the 2nd best player of this team. I want to see how he'll be as a 2. I predict a ''high'' score game(both teams above 100 pts). LET'S GO MAVS! coyote wrote: Questions: How many minutes will JJ Barea play? I hope 12 mins max.

lol I found one http://ilemi.com/channels/channel26.htmlbtw these mavs look great with J-Ho in the lineup. FG% for the first time this season after 1st half is at 50%... coincidence? I would think not, and defensively it's impressive how quick they are whether its to cut off the lane AND the 3 point territory.

antoine wright and quinton ross are the same players... overrated defensive "standouts" with no offensive game in their arsenal.

It's really insane how good we can be offensively. If the defense is there(I'm very happy with the effort I've seen so far) we can achieve really good things. KB24WIN wrote: antoine wright and quinton ross are the same players... overrated defensive "standouts" with no offensive game in their arsenal. I think Ross is better defender than Wright.Toine's defense was way overrated in his Mav's years. Both they suck bad on offense.
